Training Program Includes: 

• How to assist with activities of daily life 

• Instruction in patient hygiene and comfort 

• How to obtain and record blood glucose, weights, vital signs, specimen collections

Program Details:  

• Two weeks of classroom and hands-on training

• Participants are hired as PT/FT UPMC employees 

• Participants are paid $17.38/hour during the training program 

• Upon successful completion of the training program, participants will be considered for part-time or full-time positions with UPMC

Classes will be held 8am to 3:30pm Monday - Friday.

• Have a high school diploma or GED

• Possess general computer skills

• Pass a background check*
